The Living Wage Campaign

Thank you for showing interest in Ed Miliband’s Living Wage campaign. Hundreds of people up and down the country have joined Ed in calling for a fair day’s pay for a fair day’s work and action to tackle working poverty, by signing our petition.

Now we want to work with you to bring together local Living Wage campaigns in towns and cities across Britain – to help some of our lowest-paid workers and show how our values can transform people’s lives.

Please sign up to be a Living Wage Leader in your community.

As a Living Wage Leader, you’ll push your local employers to pay a Living Wage to their employees. You’ll work with community groups, trade unions, Labour Party members, Labour Councillors and faith groups in your area to build a dynamic campaign. You’ll be supported with 1:1 help, a toolkit, and all the resources you need. And you’ll be in touch with each other through regular teleconferences to keep you updated and so you can share your experiences with others.

Even in opposition, the Labour Party can become the most effective grassroots campaigning organisation in the country — and achieve our goal of a Living Wage that will improve the lives of thousands of hard-working people across the country.
